The Cheaper Show

Everyone should check THIS out!
The Cheaper Show is a an art exhibition that happens once a year in Vancouver. It's curated with about 200 or so artists and every piece of art cost 200 dollars.
I think what these guys did is pretty awesome and it seems like there is so much potential to create shows like this all over the world.

David Choe....

I think this is pretty crazy. It doesn't really have anything to do with anything I'm doing...but it's cool.

Not just for your Grandma...

Untitled

Crochet
22"x 10"
This piece I completed in November and I can definitely see it being a study for something much larger and cooler that I could do. I really like possibilities that crochet offers. It doesn't have to be reserved just for grandmas and baby blankets.

Back in Savannah

Middle of week two back here in Savannah. Here's what's been going on....

I have started taking fibers classes to help move my work in a another direction.
The images of the fibers help to inspire me to create this paper sculpture which i plan to remake out of fabric.

Final Days in Lacoste. Exhibition and Vernissage.

Well my time in Southern France is coming to an end. It was a great summer but I am ready to get back to the comforts of home (Bentonville and Savannah).
This weekend we had our end of the quarter exhibition. Here are a few photos. I sold two pieces. Now I can pay my parents back...

Most Recent Paintings

This is the kind of stuff I have been working on in my abstract paining class this summer.
I ended up really loving the class and it has helped me to move forward with my art.
